Rubrics are so important because teachers can uses these as guides for students to understand the assignment and to be assessed as well.  Rubrics can be used for anything. Its to see how well students are understanding the lesson and projects. Students can be graded from excellent to poor. Teachers can use this to see where are a students strengths are and see were they are struggling. I really enjoy rubrics because it  lets me use creativity and to see how well im doing in class.
