Thanksgiving Theme station
My station was a thanksgiving themes. I had three different activities for the students to do. The first activity was My first thanksgiving book. The students were to cut and staple together the thanksgiving book I passed out. After they were done, they had to read the story together as a group. The secound station was answering questions about the travel of the mayflower. And then the last activity was putting picture together of the past and the present.
Stations are a great way for students to learn how to work together to solve problems and to help each other out on a lesson they dont understand. Stations also help teachers to see how well their students understand the lessons they are being taught. For example for my stations which is thanksgiving. After giving students as a whole about thanksgiving the stations helps the teachers to create small activities based on the theme of the lessons to see and reviview if the students understand the meaning of the lessons.
